While the concept of both helmets is very similar, the main difference is the absence of the bolts on the helmet. This makes it more structurally sounds and with a higher margin of safety while keeping the comfort and practicality of the HCBH™.
Yes.
The reinforced aluminum shroud allows for easy attachment of NVG and NOV devices using standard mounts like the Norotos Losto series, AB NVF, Wilcox L4, and others.
Also, it is possible to run and move freely with the NVG in the stand-by position due to such a solid attachment.

You can install any type of equipment compatible with Picatinny rails (or Pic rails) by using a special adapter that comes with the helmet.
There are two reasons why the inclusion of bolts in the helmet can sometimes be dangerous.
No.
Because the shroud and rails are made from hardened steel that is thinner and doesn’t require bolts, the BHBH™ is actually lighter than its counterparts.

By simply detaching the Velcro® panels, you can use any layer independently.

The BHBH™ is designed as a single system and doesn’t provide places to attach additional covers.
To make it a perfect fit.
By using the Velcro attachments you can modulate the pads in any way you see fit. This way, you can know that the helmet will adjust to the shape and size of your head. You can also remove any pads that you deem are not necessary for the helmet to fir perfectly on your head.
Increased padding allows for more amortization and better ventilation but doesn’t influence the protective capabilities of the helmet in the slightest.
It feels exactly the same as the last model. But, the fact that the bolts are gone is a solid improvement. I regret not having the funds to test the difference, but I’ll keep you to your word.
Got them all black for the firm. They look fantastic and fit all the same stuff from the last model. Good work!
I honestly appreciate the fact that the inside can be moved and changed without affecting the protection level or making my helmet stick out. This helps if you need to wear coverings, or simply need more space.
Waited about three weeks for these new helmets to arrive. Basically it’s the same as the HCBC but now as a single shell without holes, which is a very big step in the right direction
The added rails for additional gear as just as sturdy as were the bolts on the previous model 👍
I can’t testify on the structural integrity, but I get the logic of having a single piece
