A: By measuring your chest and waist.
Your perfect fit is a combination of the size of the plate and the cummerbund. For that, you will need to measure your chest and waist and can then get an ideal combination.
At the top of the page, there is a Size Chart where you can select the option Determine Size, which will tell you exactly which size will fit your requirements perfectly. You can also check the Size Chart at the Tech Specs.
A: The LPC™ is designed to work with all SAPI/ESAPI type or Shooters cut plates, with the recommendation to use STA (Stand Alone) type plates for an ideal balance. You can install ICW plates with enough space to install NIJ 0101.06 Type IIIa soft armor inserts.
Ideal plate thickness is between 0.7” (18mm) and 1.1” (28mm).
Make sure the size of the plate matches the size of the vest.
You may, if necessary, place smaller plates in larger vests, but this is not recommended both because of the lower protection area and the internal movement of the plate.
A: Yes.
The EVV™ Exchangeable Vest Ventilation is a module designed to increase comfort for the operator by ventilating the body. It can be added or removed without diminishing the defensive capabilities of the plate carrier and only adding comfort to the operator.
A: While the visual design of both models is fairly similar, the LPC uses more durable materials on the outermost layer, thus preventing distortions and stretching of the loops on the PALS interface. This option also reduces the price of the LPC™, although it doesn’t have the same color texture as the Strandhögg™.
A: Yes.
Due to the composite materials using the Cordura® 1000D and 500D on the outside of the vest, the outer layers of the LPC™ is roughly 300% stronger than most plate carriers on the market.
A: Yes.
As the vest is completely modular it is possible to wear any size and type of cummerbund with any size of the plate carrier.
A: Yes.
You can install any type of chest rig or additional gear to this vest. But, to ensure the best performance we recommend using only UARM™ gear.
A: Although the plates will fit inside the carrier, this action is not recommendable. As the armor plates might not stay fixed inside the carrier, there is a possibility of them slanting down and leaving your lethal zones uncovered, which can lead to some quite unpleasant consequences.
got these for the whole crew
it is excellent
preparation time is cut in half and most of the gear can be on the belt and PC to begin with
lazer MOLLE is slightly tricky to see, especially in black, but the vest itself is very good
so easy to clip on and adjust that I often do it on the fly
Useful, not too heavy. Just right 👌
By far the best plate carrier I ever had. It is light, easy to put on and off, can fit any plate, and has attachments for all my gear. 10/10!!!!
Our crew has both the RPC and the LPC from the same manufacturer. They act the same, but the RPC looks more serious and gives me more confidence.
